Imagine if Bungie released this shyt without Trials



How much more content is in the game compared to vanilla Destiny? From the gameplay and twitch streams it looks like they killed their own MP mode

content wise it's bout equal to d1 + TDB, not including crota raid....the missions normally have multiple steps, and the areas are large like in d1 starting with HoW.....

naw, they didnt kill it....they just simplified it to go along with the rest of the 'make it easy for casuals' decisions....instead of picking a game mode to play, all you gotta do is pick from 2 categories: quickplay or competitive...each has game modes in it....

the main reasons twitch/youtubers are complaining:

1. it seems to be sbmm, so they cant just go pub stomp by themselves for vids as much....

2. they cant lone wolf cause it's so team based...

...basically they complaining for no reason....

laugh all you want, but i fukks people up with the throwing knife....and others get busy with gunslinger as well....like i said: you dont like the subclass, that's cool, but it's def not trash....i get it though, yall just like to call shyt trash cause you dont like/it doesnt fit your play style....continue on.....

The throwing knife does how much damage? Using it literally doesn't accelerate ttk on most weapons. There's no advantage to using it versus shooting.

It's not a playstyle thing. In close, like you said, they have zero advantages over other classes. At range, their passives are either weak in pvp or overall worthless. So like.... what they got?

Incin grenades don't have the same aoe size, damage, or tick length. Swarm grenades are garbage. Tripmine is a weak, short timer lightning grenade. Soooooo...

Dodge? Jump? The other hunters have that too.

The class is great at nothing. Even if you main arcstrider and prefer a long distance game, your melee advantages serve as a deterrent to anyone pushing you if you don't want to play an aggressive up close style. Nightstalkers basically have no weakness imo.

Trials is a huge aspect of the game. It also wasn't in Vanilla D1.

I just said that to point out that Bungie clearly picked and chose what they were going to keep in at D2's launch. The multiplayer just looks slow and less intense compared to D1

do you know what you're talking about right here? there is no fukking SBMM in Trails, it is connection base matchmaking that why you have someone like Luminosity and his fireteam 6-0 everyone and only dropping one round out of the 7 matches

all these casuals talking about the mida when any streamer with skill will tell you that some of the sidearms are completely unstoppable with momentum. mida don't scare anybody with skill, but a last hope in the hands of the right person will have a whole trials team like "we need to play this smart and grab heavy ASAP"

Wish I had that kind of time these days.
I feel like I've dedicated every minute I could these past 2 weeks to the game and only have my one character (warlock) at 271.

The second and third characters become easy once you get your first up to like 280+. I sent some extra weapons over that were 290s and i got to lvl 20 before i beat the story. So by the time i beat the story i was already 275. I havent even got the powerful engrams on the second character yet.

Did the nightfall with CACgonCac and some other coli dude.. It's a very easy nightfall just spam your best grenade.. You basically have unlimited abilities.. Pulse grenade on Titan is king.. Arcbolt for Hunter... Warlock can use any grenade really..
