First off, c'mon, breh. You know good and damn well comparing owner fukkery to player fukkery is like comparing apples to catalytic converters. You're almost never going to see Goodell raise a finger against his own bosses unless he absolutely has to. And the unfortunate reality is that those slimy fukks know how to play the game with disappearing when they absolutely need to. Even Jerry Jones has seemed less preset than usual now that it got out that he had a secret kid. It's a lot easier for the public to ignore owner's conduct if you only ecer see or hear from them a few times a season, when players are the frontline personnel of the league.
But that said, Kraft skated in that shyt because he's Robert Kraft. He's one of the most powerful owners in the league. Snyder is a problem that the league desperately wants to go away, but it's looking increasingly like Snyder has some sort of informed leverage over other owners, because they refuse to move against him directly.
And I use Ray Rice as the example, because that's the turning point on when general public perception changed about how the NFL handles discipline for conduct. Nearly every punishment issued since then has been a reaction to that moment.
I was thinking that too when this shyt startedSomeone should make a poll. Does all this shyt come out if dude never demanded a trade from Houston. Not that these cases aren't legit, they clearly are but would the Texans have kept this shyt under the rug.
I agree with you. The owners are different than the players. They should be held to a higher standard so if Goodell ain't gonna roast them he shouldn't be roasting Deshaun. They're not supposed to harm the reputation of the league either, and their violations are even worse, BUT the reason they don't get punished isn't because of Goodell, it's because folks are so willing to minimize or ignore what they actually do yet want Deshaun to be made an example of. They aren't harming the league's rep if folks like you just ignore what they do. Don't dismiss it. Rail against them just like you're railing against him eventually the NFL will notice if we keep that energy with the owners too and it'll force a change.
So did Silver when he kicked Sterling out.You do know Goodell works for the owners and they sign his paycheck right?
Taken from Reddit.
"Studies indicate that the rate of false sexual assault reports occur at a rate of somewhere between 2%-10% (Source). Just for the sake of argument in this post, I’ll use 10% in my calculations.
The statistical formula for determining the probability of multiple events with the same probability is very simple, as shown below:
P=xy
Where P is the probability of all events occurring simultaneously, x is the probability of the event happening in isolation, and y is the total number of events. To show an example, if a team scores a touchdown on 30% of their drives (x), and they have 10 possessions in a game (y), the probability of them scoring a TD on every possession in that game (P) is (0.3010) *100%. In that example, P= 0.00059049%. (Those numbers for x and y in this scenario aren’t based on any data, I just pulled them out of the air)
So using that equation, and the 10% likelihood of a sexual assault allegation being false (x), it can be determined that the likelihood of all 9 women that brought criminal charges forward towards Watson being false is 0.0000001%. Similarly, it can be determined that the likelihood that all 24 women falsely reported their claims is 0.0000000000000000000001%.
Based on this data, there is at least a 99.9999999% chance that Deshaun Watson is a sexual predator."

They were tracking the outrage when that tape came out, and Cuban tried to low key cape for him to not lost the team, but he lost the team based on Silver's call more than anything.
Its the reason why the Dolphins weren't going to make the trade before the deadline last season without the NDAs negotiated.The whole situation is weird because if Texans had all of this leverage over him why would he overplay his hand? However, him putting himself in this situation shows he's not that wise. The whole sweepstake to trade the farm for him was always dumb because when there are 20+ cases there were bound to be more suits coming for a while.
Lmao? Kraft got caught broad day soliciting prostitutes, there’s not even proof Deshaun did anything criminalNot sure why people keep mentioning owners here. What owners should have faced big punishment?
Irsay was punished, and what Kraft allegedly participated in pales in comparison to what Watson has been accused of. They aren't even remotely similar situations.
Not to mention that players, specifically QB's are the face of the league, not the owners.
