Cant find it now but they basically sent out a general statement about cooperating with the investigation and such. Only people that truly know what happened are the people involved. I have no idea is Deshaun did or what was said. I won’t immediately say anything cause I don’t know. I won’t instantly assume what he did like other people have already done, but I’m also not dismissing and potential victims claims, cause that’s the reason victims don’t say anything initially, and end up waiting years later.

Why wouldn't. If the Texans can't have him they don't want anyone else to and they don't want to pay him to just show up and go through the motions.

My initial response based on the timing and the lawyer’s reputation. And I still stand by this overall sentiment in the abstract.

However as the accusations pile up and a possible smoking gun exists, I gotta walk my assumptions back to total neutrality until we learn more.

This is exactly what they know people will do. They hide their identities, and just sit back and await a paycheck. Lawyer is pretty much advertising to females to contact him to join the lawsuit. You can say the craziest, outlandish of shyt and get major belief but when it comes to a real court case. They only use the one with reason. There is a chance the only one that's truthful is a 1st one with the girl from Atlanta with two kids. Everything after can be but in a court of public opinion which is currently right now. He's fried since he's a Black man. He won't get the benefit of doubt. This is where bad politics with BW have hurt BM.

Maybe Deshaun Watson is playing 5D chess? Texans know he wants out, Deshaun is having that lawyer release these stories and paying these women to make fake lawsuits. This will lower his trade value but the Texans know that they can't keep a disgruntled QB who now is battling lawsuits so they trade him for a much lower haul. Deshaun goes to a new team and magically the lawsuits are dropped.

This 100%. Whether the stories are true or lies....the McNair family would have made sure everything stayed quiet. They gone let him roast now and will not let him out of the contract. Houston looks good for giving him a second chance and he has zero leverage since his name gets tarnished. Plus people will understand why Houston is not shopping him since his price will dip.
