I agree with this but I'm still sticking by innoncent until proven guilty. I don't care how many women come out and join the suit

Also...the burden of proof in civil court is MUCH lower than criminal court.
That's why a lot of women (when dealing with famous/rich men) just go straight civil. Sexual assault that doesn't involve rough, forced penetration
is hard to prove since you can't use a rape kit to prove a man grabbed your titties or made you sukk his .
Now I could not imagine forcing a woman to slob my know. Teeth/jaws vs dikk/balls.....
Some women legitimately just want justice and figure this way is a lot easier. Others know that their stories won't hold up in criminal court against a well-paid attorney. He'll poke holes and show pictures of everything she's ever tweeted or posted on IG. A pattern of heauxish behavior.
Civil trial will put D more on the defensive because they'll introduce shyt that just wouldn't fly in criminal trials. No matter how many women say "he did it" there's not much there unless they have text messages or pics that create more questions.

I don't want to diminish the 9 women who are accusing, I just wonder why aren't they seeking criminal charges but just going straight to civil suits that is gonna end up with them getting money out of this? If they were violated sexually shouldn't they go to the police and report it?

I hope their aren’t any dumbasses in here that actually think this is a smear job by the Texans. The Texans DONT want to trade him, but if they did (which is realistic), they want the max possible value, which means it wouldn’t make sense in the slightest to make up sexual assault claims (just think about how stupid that sounds, make up sexual assault claims to tank the value of a guy you could possibly trade, and get the house for). Maybe Deshaun Watson is playing 5D chess? Texans know he wants out, Deshaun is having that lawyer release these stories and paying these women to make fake lawsuits. This will lower his trade value but the Texans know that they can't keep a disgruntled QB who now is battling lawsuits so they trade him for a much lower haul. Deshaun goes to a new team and magically the lawsuits are dropped.
