If DeSean refuses to settle his civil cases will it go to trial?
nikka, announcing that another grand jury is about to hear charges on Deshaun on the eve of his press conference is literally a move to keep reminding people of the allegations and to stunt the momentum of him rehabilitating his image. So like I said this would go nowhere (no charges) and it’s just a negative PR move. Having your name associated with this stuff is not a positive regardless of the result. Sponsors don’t like it, the fan base doesn’t and the team doesn’t. He has every incentive to settle.

Breh, the lawyer put up an announcement for women to come forward to join the lawsuit if they gave him a massage. It wasn't a team of women coming together to file charges, he pretty much solicited these women to join the suit.

Breh at this point, Deshaun might possibly be innocent
Apparently it's VERY telling if a grand jury fails to indict a QB TWICE.
And they found that 5 women flat out admitted they just wanted money, others bragged about the encounters, etc. And that even the employers of some of the women have stated that they seemed happy that they got to fukk Deshaun and didnt seem like they were violated... The combination of this makes things fishy...
Add that with the initial case (how the accusations came out literally the day after he requested a trade... the owner is literally friends with the plaintiff's lawyers... and how the owner has made suspect
remarks about players...).... and it certainly looks favorable for Watson.
I think what happened is that: he flew out these chicks, because for most of them, it was mutual
... but maybe for a few women, they weren't anticipating Deshaun to pull his dikk out :hovscust: and maybe he ended up being too forward with a few of them. The question is how forward? Rapish? Or just too touchy?

From jump this should've been obvious this was the Texans owner using his money and connections to dirty Watsons name.
Wouldn't be suprised if they have a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR on call and was keeping an eye on Watson and his off field dealings...why wouldn't they..they spent millions on him..it's creepy but makes sense.

The timing of the allegations was suspect from jump.
More than likely yes. He can’t play next season on the field as long as this situation is going on, so the league will likely have no choice but to put him on the Exemption List until after it’s resolved.
If he’s not getting charged, then they should let him play but we’ve seen that’s not how the NFL works in their decision making processes.
