This will go nowhere. This is just to pressure him to settle once again.
Pretty much. The team and fans better get used to this for the foreseeable future with this case and it's going to get more dirtier soon. Browns twitter and reddit are already stressing out about this since we are not used to dealing with this type of controversy over a player.

I've seen a lot of people say that the DA who didn't prosecute the first time might've fukked up their political career because of that...so let's see where this one goes. I don't think he did anything actually criminal, but I'm not exactly shocked if he does get indicted this time...

The DA presented the case to a grand jury who decided there wasn’t enough.

U only indict if u have a chance of winning, indicting and losing hurts u politically even more

Yeah I know that I'm saying people were saying they blatantly presented a weak case to not proceed with a trial they couldn't win...

Dismissed civil case against Deshaun Watson was not settled - ProFootballTalk
On Tuesday, lawyer Rusty Hardin said that one of the 22 civil lawsuits against Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has been dismissed. Hardin didn’t say whether the case was dismissed without quid pro quo or whether it was settled.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the case was not settled.

It’s still unknown why the case was dismissed. Given the timing and the context, the most reasonable explanation is that the plaintiff did not want to disclose her identity.

Regardless, 21 lawsuits remain — and all of the plaintiffs apparently will be disclosing their names in the near future. Barring settlements, the cases will proceed through the litigation process. Eventually, attorney Tony Buzbee will want to put Watson under oath and interrogate him regarding all of the pending cases during a pre-trial deposition.
