He has leverage, he’s a top tier qb with a no trade clause

A franchise QB is the most important player in the NFL. Any team that moves on because they don't want a meeting was never that interested in the first place. Any serious team should want to talk to him about football, fit, and clear the air after all of the allegations.

Saints are going to have to drop a $30 million dollar check to Watson on a restructure. I don't see how he says no to that.

That means the deals have to be good enough. It's just about waviering the no trade clause.

I think we land him, then restructure his contract into a signing bonus for this year and land Armstead in free agency. I think his skills with our skill position players makes us a scary team. Just have to see which defensive players we give up. If it’s Chinn and Brown we’re good although Burns would hurt he’s a liability against the run.

I think it'll just depends on which organization he likes more. We both got lame duck coaches.
