People who say this (and not you necessarily), is it justice y'all want or vigilante/mob justice? The justice system worked as intended in this situation and just because it didn't go the way you wanted it to, folks immediately go to these spurious type of arguments. Breh, this is The Coli. Do you honestly believe for one-tenth of a second that the majority of the posters here believe a young famous black athlete is capable of sexually assaulting anyone, let alone IG models, even if he had been convicted? They are.

Like if you're a Panthers fan, your team has already shown interest in Watson. They've already shown that if they can get him they will. Those fans should stop rooting for the team now.
Instead, they are basically saying "if my team fails to get him, despite trying, I'm in. But if they are successful, I'm out."

Just a bunch of nonsense. Going forward, if they really feel that strongly about Watson they should boycott the league. Supporting any team supports him indirectly, because they're still supporting the league.

Being found not guilty doesn’t mean that you didn’t actually do what you were accused of, and being found guilty doesn’t mean that you did do it. All it essentially means is that the evidence presented was or wasn’t enough to sway the jury. And contrary to popular belief, it’s actually very rare for someone accused of sexual assault to be found guilty & sentenced to prison time. Vast majority of time they get off.

That said though, I don’t think Deshaun was on some Darren Sharper shyt. He just a freaky nikka with some type of massage kink and moved sloppy. In hindsight he would’ve been better off just booking some escorts and had them sign NDAs.

I'm pretty sure this is the point people take issue with because it's the same argument used by people who still want to declare him guilty despite the grand jury outcome. It may not be what you are trying to accomplish by saying it.

Legally, you are innocent until proven guilty.

My point is that a jury’s verdict does not determine actual innocence or guilt. That’s it, that’s all. We know this when it comes to Ben Roethlisberger so I don’t get why it’s controversial now.

Deshaun not being charged does not mean that all those women were lying about their interactions with him, and if he was charged & found guilty that wouldn’t have meant they were all telling the truth. Because the justice system doesn’t work like that and I thought we all knew this.
