This will pick back up once the season hits and the league realizes one of its best players is MIA. As a Texans fan this is just par for the course in being a fan of this bum ass franchise :mjcry:

We waited 20 years for our guy to show up and the front office does every single thing in its power to fk it up :beli:

Watson wanting his booty hole played with didn’t help shyt either :dame:

With us throwing $12mil at Tyrod and using our highest 3rd rnd pick on a dumbass terrible prospect of a qb that no one wanted :francis:

No way he’s going to training camp nor will the league allow him to. They’ll put on the Commissioners Exempt list, so he will get paid his $10 million salary this year.

Fukked up thing for him though is that it will make the league take their time investigating, which would lead to him essentially being ABed in being suspended even after missing games already. I told dudes that he is more than likely not going to play at all this season and they thought I was crazy.

End up on the Exempt list and see what happens.

I don’t think the league let’s him get paid and accrue a year (or years) of service. Unfortunately they work very hard against the players best interest and Watson wants out out. If he sits out his 3/4 years and still earns his money that’s setting a baaaaad example for future players that they can get away with bad activity to get off a team they no longer want to play for.

They cannot have Watson step on the field this year while that situation still lingers over the team and league. It would legit be a PR nightmare for the league and we know that the league doesn't want that. That's specifically what the Exempt list is for. Situations like this one. No player out here is willingly trying to end up on the Exemption list (even if they get paid) because that means you're involved in some fukked up shyt that would warrant the team and/or league paying you to stay away.

The only reason Watson is because 1. he knows the situation isn't going to be resolved anytime soon and 2. that $10 million dollars could come handle in case of a potential settlement.

Think about the players that have ended up on the Exempt List since it's inception and look at the circumstances and situation that warranted them ending up there in the first place.

Doubt Goodel lets him play. No one wants that circus around camp. Especially in the aftermath of Bill Cosby getting released fresh on their minds. The Women’s groups are already up in arms and just looking for a reason to act a fool. Goodel and the Texans would rather pay him to stay home until shyt calms down.

Still can’t believe this cat got himself into this predicament. There was a time I really hoped the Dolphins would trade for him. Then I backed off that as I saw some things I liked in Tua. Then I was back on the bandwagon again… then this happened.
