You make my fukking point. To DeSean football isn't a passion, it's a job. It's a 9-5. You're a simpleton for trying to compare playing football to a regular hourly-rate job. But here we go....

And I worked with at risk youth, teens from gangs in a group home basically, I was getting paid 10.50 an hour and these kids would swing on you throw chairs and everything, I gave my maximum effort for a low wage that I didn't think was fair because I really cared about the kids.

So there is your answer.

Why didn't you just volunteer? After all it was all about the kids right? I'm sure the money that went to paying you could've helped them that much more. At a certain point it comes down to making a living no matter how much passion you have. You think nikkas would aspire to play in the NFL if they paid $10.50 an hour?

After looking at Matt Forte, it's actually pretty good. My point is, If I'm a value to the team then pay me. Matt situation could've played out very differently. Like I said, thats a big gamble on the Bears end.

Desean's been playing since 2008 and gave the Eagle 3 1/2 very productive years. A lot of you guys get business and emotions mixed up. I see where Desean was coming from. They paid Vick, Macklin, Roger-Cromartie, and Asomugha. Also, Desean is the one that kill the other teams in the division.

If you half ass it in college you won't make the pros which is the goal of the great majority of college players and thus you are wasting your time. Just like if you half-ass it in law school you won't reach your ultimate goal of being a lawyer and thus you are wasting your time.

I am not a propenent of half-assing per se. I am a propenent of fighting fire with fire and looking out for you own interests. Teams do all kinds of shady shyt to players in the best interest of the team and the bottom line financially. Forgive me if I'm not up in arms over a player doing what he thinks is best for himself and his family and their bottom line financially. It's funny how quick nikkas are to jump on the player but the org basically saying "fukk you" after the nikkas outperformed his contract by any fair measure is cool. As far as Pau goes I never called him soft and he was guaranteed like $60 mil over the next 3 seasons and the likelyhod that one play ended his career was pretty low. Meanwhile Desean was guaranteed 500k and was one hit away from retirement. Bad comapison.
