The recovery time is 8-12 weeks... How is he rushing anything?

The injury is not 18 months typically it's a 8-12 month recovery time, and mostly all of it is mental. Rose's doctor and AD himself saying it's all about trusting the knee(it's stronger than it was before) and attacking the rehab. There's no point of him just sitting out all this season, and like Brose said the best way to get back to the mental level is by playing when ever he's ready.
And at that idiot who said Rose is not a special athlete
I said 18 months to get back to where they were, he's not going to come back after 8-12 months and be nearly as explosive as he was before. Sure, he'll be healed, but he won't be the player he was initially and you won't start seeing typical Derrick Rose type explosiveness until long after that 8-12 month time frame.
How can you say knee is stronger than before?
The doctor also said some athletes come back stronger and it certainly helps that he is still only 23-years-old.

Because of the modern medicine in 2012 plus how incredible his work ethic is? His doctor/experts have said sometimes the knee becomes stronger after surgery.
