All I'm saying is if he's 100% healed in 8 months, what since does it make to wait longer than that? I mean, of course you must get back in basketball shape, that's a given, but sitting out the entire year doesn't make sense to me...unless your argument is he won't be 100% by then.

it's a 8-12 month recovery time, and mostly all of it is mental. Rose's doctor and AD himself saying it's all about trusting the knee(it's stronger than it was before) and attacking the rehab. There's no point of him just sitting out all this season, and like Brose said the best way to get back to the mental level is by playing when ever he's ready.
