I can't see where the shot connected.

I just seen it from a different angle.
He didn't even hit this nikka.
Maybe a slight graze on the nose.

But he spun around because the shot missed and hit him on his right arm.

What the hell did I just watch lol

Who’s this Joshua dude ?

So at one point there was a big 3 in the heavyweight division

Anthony Joshua
Deonte Wilder
Tyson Fury

They were all supposed to fight each other, but only Fury fought Wilder. The main draw to all of them fighting was the fact that they were all undefeated. But then Joshua lost. Fury beat Wilder twice which fukked up Wilder ever fighting Joshua.

It all started in 2018. Fury and Wilder fought and the winner was going to fight Joshua, but it was a draw.

Then Joshua lost in 2019. Wilder/Fury fought in 2020/2021 with Wilder losing both fights.

Then Joshua lost again in 2021 before the 3rd Fury/Wilder fight.

Then Joshua lost again in 2022..

You see where it's going. All 3 are bums at this point.

The H
Deontay Wilder is 38, nearly 39 with 15 years of heavyweight boxing history and punch resistance basically gone at this point.

Older fighter who risks it for knockouts, outweighed by nearly 70 lbs. going up against one of the hardest hitters. It was a send off fight from the start practically.
I'm surprised he made it to the 5th round
:ehh:

As someone who doesn't follow boxing , why would that be the end of Deontay's carreer?
I don't follow it either, but I know everybody in Boxing is petty...you can be the shyt while you in top but as SOON as you Loose nobody checks for you anymore... weird ass sport...

He’s gun shy and afraid to throw. This happens a lot to guys who’ve been Ko’d and are getting up in age. Guys like Wilder who aren’t natural boxers need to have quick reaction times and be unafraid by letting it all hang out.

This fight he was timid and you can tell he was second guessing himself. Think of a QB who won’t release into tight windows because they are afraid of getting picked. So they take check downs or hold the ball too long and get blasted in the pocket. That’s what happened in this fight. Even the right hands DW was throwing had 0 sauce on them.

Once that happens there is no turning back. It’s over. Time to enjoy his millions and raise his kids.
