Denzel's a better actor. Denzel has more range and diversity in the roles he selects. What the hell are y'all smoking on? Will has yet to even play a bad guy yet. I can't see Will as Trip. Cant see him as Alonzo. He tried to play a polarizing role with Ali but it was forgettable. Just lets me know he couldn't have played a role as big as X. Cant even see Will as Jake Shuttlesworth. You too scared to play real characters with flaws. And I don't mean making that same sad face he makes when he's trying to look seriousStick to the Sci-Fi flicks and summer blockbusters. If he made more films like Pursuit to Happyness, Id feel different.

- he had the best biopic film ever. Malcom x in my book, is one of the greatest acting displays ever. From starting out as a 2 bit gangsta as red, than going to prison, and seeing him struggle with the transformation to malcom x was
than the swag he had with them speeches and leading men was crazy. He basically played 2 different characters in one movie.
- will smith has some good/great films. But i've always seen him more of an entertainer rather than an actor on the same level. Outside of a few roles (eg pursuit of happiness).

I think the other difference between the two of them is this: Will turns down Django because he wants the role to be more action hero-ish and flamboyant, basically suited for him to do the Will Smith persona. I can't see Denzel turning down a role like that for those reasons. Denzel seems to be more of a giving actor than Will, who only gives when he's acting with family
