- he had the best biopic film ever. Malcom x in my book, is one of the greatest acting displays ever. From starting out as a 2 bit gangsta as red, than going to prison, and seeing him struggle with the transformation to malcom x was
than the swag he had with them speeches and leading men was crazy. He basically played 2 different characters in one movie.
- will smith has some good/great films. But i've always seen him more of an entertainer rather than an actor on the same level. Outside of a few roles (eg pursuit of happiness ).

At first i was going with will but after reading thru and reminiscing on some films, I gotta go with denzel. It's close tho and will has variety in his catalog, but denzel is a bit better. Training day, john q, out of time, book of Eli, ag, all films I've enjoyed and he's acted his ass off in. Will also has many films I love, especially his comedy roles. I think, if possible, they should do a film together.

I've always enjoyed Will Smiths movies more.

Theres a good argument on why either one is the better actor. Like people have said...I believe Denzel in his roles more...but at the same time his roles are usually pretty similar. Will Smith tends to play a wider variety of characters.

Yea. I have it on DVD and I swear I forget its Denzel every time, he nailed Malcolm. It's like its really him.

Its obviously Denzel Washington, Most of Will Smith's movies are over hyped, mediocre & don't always live up to expectations! Denzel has better movies on his resumes than Will.

I need to see Will Smith to play a villain for once in his career but he plays too safe too much, only care about $$$.
