I liked Waters.

I don't believe he was a c00n either. Not in the least.

He was conflicted, that's why he was a good character, he was a c00n and a militant at the same time

The funny thing is he respected and liked Denzel Washington character the most, because he was the only one who would stand up for himself, and wouldn't take no shyt

and Denzel character was too in his feelings, that's why he killed waters at the end, the racist white boys ain't even kill him, but another black man who hated him more

It's a great movie on it's own, and even a greater black movie, because it shows the dynamic that we never try to understand each others differences, and if we have opposing views its nothing but hatred can't agree to disagree

CJ being an elite athlete made him he hate him more, because he felt he was a waste of a man, and couldn't stand to see big strong man black man being a grinning and jiting c00n

but CJ wasn't a c00n either, that was just his personality, he was a gentle giant, but where waters crew up that's how c00n act, he in so much c00ning in his life he made him sick

only time Sgt Waters was a c00n was when the white superior officer came around, and that comes with being in the military
