they said he'd just stand on the sideline, watching opposing teams during shootaround before game time. when they asked him what he was looking at, he said he was studying the rotation of the ball on everyone's jumpshot, so he knew what direction the ball was likely to go when they missed. he was a genius in his own rightYes true talk. Dude was so smart he knew where the ball was gonna rebound to once it hit the rim or backboard. Then he was so good with tipping the ball multiple times until he got the rebound. He also couldn't gather and jump again and again quicker than even folks who were taller and more athletic than him.
best part of this is after he hit the 1st 2, Jordan got it right back to him for another one
One of the most random shyt I remember was him dancing with Antonio Davis after going for a loose ball in 1998. Rodman grabbed his hand and started wriggling around like some tango shyt. Davis wasn't having none of it and shoved him away.
Davis got a technical and Rodman started clapping and laughing
Sheed.
He could score, he just didn't give a shyt about it especially after he left the Pistons.Honestly, Rodman probably played harder than anyone I've seen live. He made up for his offensive decencies with just pure fukking hustle.
On his episode of Pros vs Joes he was lighting it upHe could score, he just didn't give a shyt about it especially after he left the Pistons.
Dude said it's easier to score 20pts than getting 20rbs... He just wanted to stand out.
It's the Rodman clap while running up the court with that high knee action bounce after trolling someone that used to have me in tears! He used to troll the Davis boys.

That Rodman/Malone incident will always have me
Rodman was special. No one did the double bounce thing better than him. Patrick Ewing could only give you one jump for a rebound. Rodman could give you four or five jumps for one rebound.Honestly, Rodman probably played harder than anyone I've seen live. He made up for his offensive decencies with just pure fukking hustle.
He rode a stationary bike for an hour AFTER every home game with the Bulls. Journalists were always shocked to see him leave the building after everyone.Rodman was special. No one did the double bounce thing better than him. Patrick Ewing could only give you one jump for a rebound. Rodman could give you four or five jumps for one rebound.
Dude was an athletic freak
