rodman to me, and its not even close... rodman had a better offensive game, was actually a good on ball defender (something i think ben was never good at) and arguably the best rebounder of all time. ben was a better shot blocker.

This about covers it.

Ben was a beast but imma go with Rodman here. I wish Big Ben would be inducted in the HOF, but I'm not sure if he will.

In a head-to-head matchup, can you imagine how frustrating and annoying Rodman would be to Bu-bu-ben. We saw how he responded to Artest. Rodman's antics were mentally challenging for everyone who was matched up with him. Both damn good players (particularly defensively and rebounding-wise), but I give the nod to Rodman.

Rodman because he can guard perimeter players too like Bird, Jordan, etc. as well, and can practically do everything Ben can do but a bit better, plus he was a better rebounder and he had a bit more of an offensive game than Ben. But, mann Ben in his prime was :noah: imo the dude had the most swag when he blocked a shot, the way he would swat the shyt out of the ball was :wow:

:scusthov: I agree with what y'all are saying but let's not act like Dennis's offensive game got him in the HOF. Dennis's o-game compared to Ben's o-game is the difference between solid feces and diarrhea--one's a little better, but it's still shyt.

Ben easily, better defensive player. And anchored a historically great defensive team(2004 Pistons - 94.1 DRtg)

Ben was a better shot blocker and better at being the last line of defense.

Rodman all day. He could guard every position on the court pretty much. He could get in the other teams best player head and talk him out of his game. He averaged more boards than Big Ben at his best. Wallace was a monster but he was pretty much one dimensional on the defensive end. Guarding his man and helping with the weakside defense. But Rodman could guard a man 25 feet away from the basket and more times than not held his own. Then he could go inside and guard a big man in the post. He's just two versatile for this to even be a debate.
