Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown are interchangeable for my GOAT QT movies:myman:

...and Pulp Fiction comes in third:yeshrug:

Wow, Bridgett married composer Danny Elfman, no wonder she quit the biz:win:

LOL My man was holding on as long as he could. He held back from snuffing her in the face just to gun her down minutes later, if he would just punched her he would probably still be with us today :to:
When she was racking thru the clothes and talking shyt to Lewis he grabbed her up, and was

about to throw a Janay, until she said mad loud "HEY CAN YOU LET GO." To a 90s kid,

for a split second, it looked like DeNiro stop acting and was truly about to GO HAM on Fonda:banderas:

I got resivoir dogs in my top 2. Sometimes it's #1 for me. Pulp is the other. Jackie Brown I got at 3.
Reservoir is still a classic, but it doesn't grab you like Pulp Fiction (the flashback scenes create pacing issues imo), and I like Elmore Leonard and Jackie Brown is a perfect adaption. So I got Pulp and Jackie tied at #1 and Reservoir at a close, close #2

Yeah they are all close in quality. RD IMO has the best intro and the flash back scenes work great considering majority of the film takes place in that warehouse. Those scenes are funny especially the meeting with everyone, classic Mr. PINK debate. It's real close but I got RD ahead by a nose.

Yea I like most of the flashback scenes, but there are too many and they are at weird places in the film

Idk, I can't really pin point any areas where RD drags. And to your point that it doesn't grab u like Pulp does I disagree because after the credits we are immediately in the car with Mr. Orange bleeding to death. I love the transition. QT really wanted to show his dialogue chops with PF and RD was more in your face, to me anyway.

It doesn't drag, but the flashbacks throw off the movie for me just a bit. And it does grab you, but just not in he same way Pulp Fiction does because of how the narrative is structured. Both classics, but Pulp Fiction is on another level.

Idk I still think resivoir dogs is just as entertaining if not more so than pulp fiction with all its characters and sub plots. Would like to see QT get back to that urban universe again.
