I think imma just take this shyt back and used the money I paid for elden ring or Nioh 2 or something
Combat is way too slow. I prefer bloodborne and ds3.

I love this game but I really can’t blame you.

It was ahead of its time when it first came out. And in some ways it’s amazing that it held up as well as it did over the years. (Plus the visuals are bananas)

but yeah DS3 is much more polished. And Bloodborne is arguably the best game of all time.

If you like faster combat try Sekiro but be careful what you wish for :mjlit:

nioh 2… the combat is real good. But you spend almost as much time in the menus organizing your gear as you do playing the game. It’s still worth playing but IMO it’s not in the same tier as the others I mentioned.

I aint play that shyt since the day it came out...demon souls disrespected my gaming skill set with its archaic gameplay...I come from the school of nioh..shyt felt like I was playing resident evil 1 with its tank ass controls

Yeah if you play Nioh then go to Demon Souls you're going to feel gimped gameplay wise.

I got 30 days to exchange it. So if I beat it in 30 days cool if not :yeshrug:
My mind is Made up at this point lol

Yeah bruh I hate when games don't allow you to avoid damage all together. I prefer to dodge and make nimble characters that hit hard. Shields and blocking bore me but you HAVE TO block in this game. In DS3 you don't have to block if you're skilled

I can't take this shyt back so I remade and apparently magic is overpowered in this game. So I'm using a sword that does magic damage instead :francis:
That fukking tunnel in 2-1 was some bullshyt now they dying easy
Game encourages kiting :picard:

Kiting is a term primarily encountered in MMORPGs referring to a popular method of killing mobs (monsters) or other players by staying at a distance, using ranged attacks, and running whenever the enemy comes near.[1] Similar tactics may be used in other computer and video games.[2]

Kiting

So your statement is wrong, the games have melee builds and you can parry or roll or straight up defend and still fight in close quarters. Kiting requires a ranged weapon and is your primary form of attack. Most souls games builds are not ranged either so that statement is false.

I didn’t know your definition, so thanks for that. I thought Gizmo was talking about spacing enemies out using their AI against them. That’s what I’ve always known as kiting and definitely applies to Souls, but I know shyt about MMOs, never even tried one :russ:

that’s how I’ve always used kiting even when I played ffxi

pretty much aggro the enemies by distance or hitting them with a ranged attack and breaking up their numbers by letting them chase you

Demon Souls makes weapon type a much bigger priority than the others in the series. Souls also come at a much lower rate so leveling up is more scarce.

fukking around on the web, I offered to buy this brand new at a ridiculously cheap price today expecting to get turned down... but the seller accepted :snoop: I just bought FFVII Remake: Intergrade & Elden Ring yesterday. Looks like I'm off to a bad start.

Edit: My Sekiro offer just got accepted too.

The Black and white filter is CRAZY. Might go back n forth with it. I'm afraid I'll miss something if I do my full playthrough with it on.
