funny thing is, I copped blood borne on release and I liked it but not enough to finish it.

I really liked sekiro but didn’t finish it either just due to me picking it up right before the trifecta came out last summer (FF7, Tlou, GoTsu)

I think I tried darks souls 2 or 3 and put that shyt down after like 10 minutes lol.

I swear it seems like once you finally find that one, they all look different in hindsight once you get through this one and you need a backlog game, fire up one of the one of those that's not DS2 from the beginning and feel the difference

You'll enjoy all of them now that the formula finally clicked.

I got hooked on the original demons souls and From Software has been my favorite developer ever since.

It wasnt pretty but I defeated Flame Lurker

I kilt him first time go round. He wasn't too tough for all his hyped up tough talk of the game. Just penetrated The Penetrator as well, whom was even easier, but surprisingly died my first time on him. Got distracted by the fam. Kilt him real clean next go round tho. I don't recall ever fighting either of them in the OG game, but I'm thinking that I had to have fought Flamelurker cuz I do remember fighting Dragon God in the OG (beat him here as well; which was the most annoying fight I've had so far).

That damn Dragon God battle is annoying as hell

So I've saved every demon soul ive gotten except the one from Flamelurker, gave that one to the blacksmith.

Are any of these worth just trading in for the souls so i can increase my stats? I dont wanna use one and then need it later for something

Just beat Maneater after 3 tries and damn near 1-shotted Old Monk immediately afterwards with a back stab at the start of the fight. I'm definitely further along now than I ever was in the original. I think I took down like 5- bosses in the OG. I'm at about 8-10 now.

If you quit the application as soon as you die from fighting the boss, the PS5 activity card will load you up right before the fight. . I did that for the Spider Boss twice. Helped me save time.

hmm wonder if that only works for boss fights...I could use that type of help throughout levels...it’d be great if it took me right back to the point of death each time

I did it but accident and I was right back to the fog entrance.

I also just realized how to upgrade my stats after three boss fights smh
