Can people invade your game randomly? I swear I had two people, outlined in red, appear out of now where and chase me. They didn’t look like the normal creatures in the area. They looked like other create a players. shyt had me shook.

There's a few specific instances in the game where there will be actual create-a-player like enemies that are actually still the computer, but most of the time, when you see red soul form characters, it's when you've been invaded. You can only be invaded in Human form and you'll outright get told by the game that someone has invaded your world.

ya I just started seeing the blood stains...game is intriguing...can’t believe I can still be hit/killed when I hit pause tho

Unlike the original, you can actually literally pause the game now by pressing the button that pulls up the Picture mode. I forget what button that is tho.

You’ll learn eventually learn that losing souls isn’t that big of a deal.

Once you get to the late game you’ll be losing around 30k on average. People tend to end up around the same levels by the end

I just killed some dude in the nexus who I could talk to who was offering to hold my shyt in storage...got a ring and some souls...wondering if I should’ve killed him since he was unarmed

yea imma need to know that location. I was doing the bear bugs down in the tunnels of stage 2-2.

Just go to the Shadowman land, the 4th archstone. The skeletons in that area, simply killing the first 5 of them will net you lik 2-2500K. Considering how fast the game loads now and how very immediatley close they are to the initial spawn point, you can rinse and repeat that section for like a 1/2 hour and have over 10-15k souls real quick. Only caveat is, initially those skeletons can beat your ass fast. They help teach you the game quick tho.

4 - 1 is a decent place to farm souls. There's like 5 skeletons right close to the start of the level that give a decent amount.
