Win a primary or shut the fukk up
The democratic party would rather lose in the general than let someone like Bernie win the primaries. The process will be adjusted so such a candidate would lose. We all saw what happened when Bernie last ran and they thought he might beat Biden. Everybody pulled out of the race at the drop of a dime and threw their support behind Biden. They even had Elizabeth Warren lean back.

It's not even about Bernie to me, it's just plain obvious the establishment wants a certain type of democrat to win because they're afraid of losing rich and wealthy donors. They had kamala run a whole fukking center right campaign

The problem with dumbing down the messaging is that you’ll eventually dumb down the messenger unintentionally, and you’ll give the go ahead to the idiots to feel superior on topics they have no clue about.

It’s bad enough we have folks thinking they know more than medical professionals about medicine, but if they were to feel like they were actually influencing how we spoke about medicine and science…all hell breaks loose.

It’s one thing to be ignorant…adding in arrogance makes this a dangerous ballgame

I agree with this. But at the end of the day a more left candidate is gonna have to get wins in the South during the primaries. Otherwise it's gonna be same old story.

You're right the democratic party will only allow a certain type of candidate to the top of the ticket. There couldn't be a Trump in this party that the establishment doesn't like but is tolerated because they'd crush that type of candidate with all their might. The republicans didn't really fight against Trump. Even they ones that were vocally against him fell back in line.

This isn't true, and the rest of your statement is just more stupid babble.

Also, Canada doesn't have a "Labour Party"
Stupid babble when your analysis is, “they are essentially like the Democratic Party.” :heh:

Your issue is your political ideology is Democrat. It’s not an ideology but instead of rooting for progress, you cheer on Democratic memes and electoral issues. Imma put it like this, if your life is great enough that rooting for political parties is enough, then cool. Just stay out of serious discussions.

Also props for pointing out Canada doesn’t have Labour Party. Pedantic and irrelevant dork shyt like that is what I mean that Dems are essentially the nerds who got stuffed in 80s high school movie lockers.

When Obamacare was passed they could have passed a public option but declined to do it.
Dems did NOT have a supermajority in either chamber back then. So that's false. A supermajority is around 67 votes in the Senate and 290 in the House, which Dems didn't have.

Also, Obama did want the public option, but getting that wasn't simple. He had to deal with unified Republican opposition, and there were a lot more conservative Democrats in Congress back then. People like Joe Lieberman (a Dem-leaning independent: fukk him!), Blanche Lincoln, Mary Landrieu, Ben Nelson, Tim Johnson, etc.

Once again, I know that you hate the Democratic Party. That's irrelevant. Also, "pedantic dork sh!t" is your stupid babble claiming that Dems aren't center-left when they are.
