It's very sad to see someone who seems to be as civically engaged as you feeling so hopeless, and I can't blame you.

And I know its easy for me to say the below, so maybe take with a grain of salt:

Just know that there are people who draw inspiration from the efforts that you are putting in to the real world. You may never know who you've inspired, or you may even find out years down the line and be surprised. But there is someone(s) in the real world who has watched you and has either become, or is thinking of becoming, more engaged in politics because of it. You may live your life without knowing what good you've inspired in the world, but the good will have been inspired nevertheless.

Our democracy needs the engagement of citizens like yourself to remain healthy and vibrant. And when it's sick, it needs citizens like you to restore it to it's former self.

So thank you for everything you've already done, and I hope you know that we need you in the game to continue inspiring us.

I've just never seen anything quite like what I've seen in the last 8 years.

Grass is blue and the sky is green now.

Folks have literally convinced themselves that January 6th was nothing more than a walk in the park. People died inside the Capitol, officers got the crap kicked out of them and it's like it never happened.

All because of one man and he's back in power.

I'm much appreciate the kind words bro.

But the level of ignorance that has been bestowed upon this country since 2015 is mind-blowing.

And we have a dikkless Democratic party that let this man back in power.

The Democrats #1 priority should be how to deliver and connect with people who are disconnected from politics.
Number one priority when they got back in power back in 2020 was supposed to pass anything and everything possible and go scorched earth to make sure that man never got into the office again.

Garland should have been on fire with prosecutions the minute that he got set as attorney general. Make up a law and pass it with reconciliation.

No excuse they didn't have that man thrown in jail in four years

And the cap this off the amount of debasing of your own intelligence you have to do to convince people what's in front of them is a crime and fraud there's really nothing else to say.

It's like watching Senator Palpatine. Sometimes people just like to be in the passenger seat on the ride into the abyss.

And if you're black like me you realize how more personal you take this because our folks died trying to get to this moment just to participate in this process.

And to watch it turn into a joke like this yeah nah man it's a wrap for me.

I'll vote but I ain't donating a goddamn thing and I'm just going to do my duty take care of my family and work towards goals in my life.

We don’t live in a socialist country and it never in our history has been a socialist country. This working class “uprise” dream will always be a dream. Bernie Bros don’t know their own damn country and don’t know their neighbors. The ppl who didn’t vote in this election should just keep on not voting if their ultimate goals is to “convert the nation”. Ppl are hurting economically, but they don’t care. Even poor ppl still believe in capital accumulation and believe they can join that 1%. How many ppl become uprwardly mobile and benevolent? This country was built on capitalism and giving hope to all Americans that they may too be able to have the wits to make more money. Just move to socialist country. Not even joking. :mjlol:

“Working man” schpiel is just that. It’s lip service. Most Americans aren’t for radical changes.
Your comment reflects a profound misunderstanding of socialism, its history in America, and its broader global context. While the U.S. has never been fully socialist, socialist principles have played a major role in shaping policies that have directly benefited working people. Social Security, Medicare, minimum wage, 8 hour workdays, and public education all stem from working-class movements you dismiss as “lip service.” Without those “uprises,” many of the rights and safety nets Americans take for granted wouldn’t exist.

Telling people who support socialist policies to “move to a socialist country” is some real #lowerlearning, since countries like Norway, Denmark, and Finland are mixed economies and not socialist states. There are no socialist countries in the world, and you can chalk that up, in large part, due to the U.S. government and their well-documented track record of intervening—often covertly and sometimes overtly—to destabilize or overthrow governments that adopt socialist policies or even just lean leftward. Also, moving to another country doesnt address any of the global long term effects of capitalism, such as climate change, which will effect denizens of the global south first and more harshly, despite them not contributing to the climate crisis in any way.

Claiming that “most Americans aren’t for radical changes” is also nonsense. Polls consistently show widespread support for policies like universal healthcare, affordable housing, and stronger worker protections. These arent “radical” proposals; they’re common-sense solutions to the economic pain that anyone with vision witnesses on a day to day basis. The reason Americans vote against their interests is because the public education system is lacking severely, and billionaires pour money into elections to influence results.

Dems violated the 15th Law

All great leaders since Moses have known that a feared enemy must be crushed completely. (Sometimes they have learned this the hard way.) If one ember is left alight, no matter how dimly it smolders, a fire will eventually break out. More is lost through stopping halfway than through total annihilation: The enemy will recover, and will seek revenge. Crush him, not only in body but in spirit.

4 Ways to Kill or be Killed

1. Do not sympathize with your enemies.

Your enemy will bide his time and strike back when you least expect.

2. When you pity or hope for reconciliation, it will make you hesitate.

They may act friendly for the time being, but they will eventually destroy you

3. An enemy that is left around is like a half-dead viper that you nurse back to health.

You only strengthen their fear and hatred of you.

4. Give your enemies nothing to negotiate, no hope, no room to maneuver.

Do not humiliate, yet nurture these resentful vipers who will one day kill you.

This is all the truer with a former friend who has become an enemy. The law governing fatal antagonisms reads: Reconciliation is out of the question. You must exterminate, crush, and deny them the chance to return to haunt you.

Such is the case of Hsiang Yu and his enemy Liu Pang. Hsiang had proven his ruthlessness on many an occasion, but with Liu Pang he acted differently. Every time he had his rival in his hands, something made him hesitate—a fatal sympathy or respect for the man who had once been a friend and comrade in arms. But the moment Hsiang made it clear that he intended to do away with Liu, yet failed to accomplish it, he sealed his own doom.

Liu would not suffer the same hesitation once the tables were turned. Now Hsiang Yu was on the run from Liu and when he came upon a small group of his own retreating soldiers, he cried out, "I hear Liu Pang has offered one thousand pieces of gold and a fief of ten thousand families for his head. Let me do you a favor." He then slits his own throat and dies.

It is not, of course, a question of murder, it is a question of banishment. Sufficiently weakened and then exiled from your world, your enemies are rendered harmless.

They have no hope of recovering, insinuating themselves and hurting you. And if they cannot be banished, at least understand that they are plotting against you, and pay no heed to whatever friendliness they feign.

Sometimes It Is Better To Let Your Enemies Destroy Themselves

Leave your enemy an escape route. A retreat is the ultimate demoralizing defeat.Let them be the agents of their own destruction. The result will be the same.
The risk of crushing an enemy is you embitter them so much so that they spend years and years plotting revenge. Do not let your guard down, but simply crush them again
