Dems ceiling is around 52 rn, republicans is higher unfortunatelyAlso from a federal standpoint, the way the system is setup there can’t be drastic change in any direction. We will probably never see 1 party with 60 senate again

Why? None of it's true. That's why you keep trying to say you're smart, but you can't get your story straight.
Have a nice night bubbaLet me get this straight. I posted a picture you’ve never seen before proving I’m black and you think I faked it?
You don’t deserve to share air with me.
You also said you weren't black.Let me get this straight. I posted a picture you’ve never seen before proving I’m black and you think I faked it?
You don’t deserve to share air with me.
When did I say that. Be specific and quote the year. Let’s walk you through this. You also said you weren't black.
whats the truth
Lowkey the thread title should be changed to “The American Rebuild”
Trump put a Russian asset in charge of national security
A Cuban in charge of diplomacy
a sex offender as AG
A KKK supporting TV host in charge of the army
A Long islander in charge of the environment
A Vaccine denier in charge of Health
A Ny Cop who came up with stop and frisk in charge of immigration
A Indian Bootlicker and a Boer in charge of government staffing
An evangelical fanatic in charge of Israeli diplomacy
and a Paula Deen look alike from Florida is supposed to manage it……
Putin and Xi and God only knows who else is going to take over global Hegemony
Nato gonna disband when Trump tell them he wants Ukraine to surrender
I thought he was going to come for Black people, but he’s lowkey coming for all of America. He is going to make America into Atlantic City and then die from being old and out of shape. Aka pull a Physical bankruptcy.
Americans are given a choice every 4yrs and they choose who they choose. Nobody loves a billionaire more than Americans do. We idolize those who can capitalize within capitalism. The education system is what it is. But Americans aren’t powerless completely, they just let their voices be heard every 4yrs. It will take a quality life reset back to the pre-GI bill days for Americans to collectively vote for their self interest. You said it yourself, those were common sense measures that reflects the extreme conditions of workers at that time. Well….what happened this month? Why weren’t the majority of “working Americans” motivated to vote down ballot for progressive candidates with more transformative policies? Why did they elect the billionaire shrewd New Yorker for the 2nd time?Your comment reflects a profound misunderstanding of socialism, its history in America, and its broader global context. While the U.S. has never been fully socialist, socialist principles have played a major role in shaping policies that have directly benefited working people. Social Security, Medicare, minimum wage, 8 hour workdays, and public education all stem from working-class movements you dismiss as “lip service.” Without those “uprises,” many of the rights and safety nets Americans take for granted wouldn’t exist.
Telling people who support socialist policies to “move to a socialist country” is some real #lowerlearning, since countries like Norway, Denmark, and Finland are mixed economies and not socialist states. There are no socialist countries in the world, and you can chalk that up, in large part, due to the U.S. government and their well-documented track record of intervening—often covertly and sometimes overtly—to destabilize or overthrow governments that adopt socialist policies or even just lean leftward. Also, moving to another country doesnt address any of the global long term effects of capitalism, such as climate change, which will effect denizens of the global south first and more harshly, despite them not contributing to the climate crisis in any way.
Claiming that “most Americans aren’t for radical changes” is also nonsense. Polls consistently show widespread support for policies like universal healthcare, affordable housing, and stronger worker protections. These arent “radical” proposals; they’re common-sense solutions to the economic pain that anyone with vision witnesses on a day to day basis. The reason Americans vote against their interests is because the public education system is lacking severely, and billionaires pour money into elections to influence results.
I keep telling you about these progressives
They like LGBT people and they have "black friends"“Identity reductionist politics”
This the Bernie bro version of “DEI!!! ”
They’re starting to sound like conservatives.
If they have a problem with the modern Dem Party and their policy that isn’t transformative enough, then that’s one thing. But to find fault in racial 1st?
Ppl on here hate on tariq, Yvette, tone, but use the same snide remarks and talking points.
I mean, what's even the point? Even if there's a blue wave in 2026 and/or 2028, the idiots in this country will give Republicans back power sooner rather than later.
This is just another reason why I've become jaded with politics. I'm starting to view it as near pointless (at least federally) because of the huge amount of misinformation out there (primarily due to Fox News and social media) and also the education gap.
Chris Murphy said it best. Dems ceiling in the U.S. Senate is 52 seats. The GOP ceiling is 62 seats.
Very bleak future
