Yall gotta stop giving men a pass. Masculinity isn't a valid reason to vote for a racist conman with assbackwards policies. Why is that the democrats have to check 10x more boxes than the shyt show on the right? Stop making excuses.
I don’t give anyone a pass. My goal is to win - you deal with the populace you have - not the one you want. You can be right and be a loser or you can have power and create the world you want. Martin Luther King was rated as the most dangerous person in America while civil rights were being passed. “Change laws, not minds.” Trump lost the popular vote the first time and barely won it this time and is moving like he got a mandate. And it’s not about POC men voting Republican- it’s about the people that don’t vote at all. You can be mad all you want but if people don’t feel valued, they won’t vote. 80 percent of black people think Dems tale them for granted, you think that a substantial portion of that group won’t stay home and some won’t YOLO vote for a Republican? Your argument is that black men should loyally be the only demographic to show up while not being catered to at all. Do you hear yourself?

Let me help you guys - people are inherently self-interested and the least effective political ad was shyt like saving democracy. The most effective involved jobs and costs. What was the democratic message on those issues for brothers? I’m telling you what democratic strategists are arguing about right now. They know you can’t guilt people into voting now. - especially when they don’t fukk with you like that (my point on masculinity).

It has nothing do with the "far left" or trans issues :mindblown: that did not swing the fukking election no matter how much you bring it up. Trump won because of white grievance politics just like in 2016.

Biden only (barely) won in 2020 because of 1) COVID and 2) He's a white guy

Nothing Kamala could've said about immigration or trehs would've mattered. She could've said the same thing as Trump and still would've lost.
Kamala had chance being subbed in at the last minute. That’s like telling the back up QB to go win the SB down 30 in 3rd after Mahomes (Biden) threw 5 INTs. People are confusing me saying what Dems need to do to win with me justifying why Trump’s brand of identity politics works on white people. I’m speaking strictly about getting demographics you’re supposed to win by a lot.

Does health care reform, social security, tax codes, civil rights, consumer protection, education, and workers rights not effect black men? Do all those things skip over the black male community and we are just exempt from having to worry about any of that shyt?
No but those aren't things that we feel are given or allowed to us anyway. How many black men do you know who trust medial doctors? How many black men do you know are pursuing higher education? You have to be able to look at things the way laymen look at them. If you cannot then you can't win. Simple as that breh.

Nothing screams good ol’fashioned conservative bootstrap, individualism more than celebrating the victories of other men from the comfort of your own home :sas1:

You listed two things and skipped all the others such as taxes, and workers rights which effect everyone. Being ignorant to how these things effect them is the real issue.

I said it before it’s too much “Get the W!” culture.

Frat boys and fart jokes everywhere.

All at the expense of “culture” and sophistication itself.

Trump's entire aura is connected to the fragile insecure men who always goes to these events. That's why you always see Trump at these UFC and college football games.

Basketball is the only sport you'll see that these folks don't fcck with because the players have the freedom to speak their minds. Only teams that'll see Trump at the WH is either the LSU women's team because of their head coach or the Mavericks because Miriam Adelson has a stake in the team and even that's not a guarantee.
when i said the nba ratings is down because of this, i get pushback

magas have been having a grudge with nba since 2020 and it's not mostly because of 3 point shooting

They come up with every excuse for losing.
And sure, maybe all these things on the margin COULD have helped the Democrats win.

But the big reason the Democrats lost is because too many white women voted for Trump.

That's the fukkin answer.

You don't need to have panels on CNN wondering about who black men voted for, or if Latinos in Miami tilted things in Republicans favor.

Ask yourselves why all these white women voted for the p*ssy grabber.
This. I don’t think people realize that when White people in this country vote a certain way, it tends to mean that’s the direction it’ll go.

The country is still 70+% white at the end of the day.

Then they should be educated. Marketing teaches us to educate the people on what your product is. Democrats need to do a better job of educating people that are on the fence.

You think the Democrat politicians are the ones who suffer the most from Republican policies? I don't get your logic or line of thinking.

I think that people don't relate to or understand one party's messaging and that we live in a society driven by good PR and Marketing.

Masculinity isn't a valid reason to vote for a racist conman with assbackwards policies
And what policies are these that you're talking about? Black men vote democratic THE MOST and somehow Obama STILL found time to scold them into voting Democratic. And just black men. No other group got scolded like we did and you still don't understand why more men lwentowards a candidate projecting masculinity and maintaining a space for it?

Democratic main issues? Abortion in regards to women opening their legs willingly (for the most part) and then wanting to murde... errr. I mean "erase" the mistake. What benefits they'd provide to illegal immigrants who broke the law to get here. Oh and the never forgotten "we can't let Trump win". And all this came out the mouth of a terrible candidate that NO ONE liked last time she ran, who did terrible in interviews/debates while not being able to speak without a teleprompter. And this candidate, coming off a 4 year term where the economy sunk, somehow ran up a billy in debt in 1 MONTH with her campaign?!?! And you still don't know why men leant towards Trump?

The "they're racist" angle is also tired. America has been racist no matter who is in power. And last go around we saw a white man that was once against desegragation telling black people on a black radio station they aren't black if they don't vote for him. We had a white women the one before, going on a black radio station to tell them she packs hot sauce with her everywhere she goes and after it being pointed out how some would consider that pandering only mustering up "Is it working?" We had Obama attempting to scold black men, the men of the US that vote democratic THE MOST, into voting democratic again while having no smoke for any other group, ESPECIALLY white women. And you still don't know why men leant towards Trump?

Really, if everyone actually took a step back and looked at it, they'd see that politicians work for the wealthy. It was a republican (Reagan) who introduced tax cuts for the ultra wealthy because it would "trickle down" while it was a democrat that gave bailouts to the "wealthy" in 2008 because it would trickle down. Heres the reality of politics in America:

Divide Americans so they fight each other over actually holding the politicians accountable for the decisions they make. 1 trilly on the military last year but in 2020 they act like there was no money to give to Americans they were forcing to stay home/close businesses? Pathetic, but even more pathetic that most can't see it and rather twerk for their favorite political team
:unimpressed:

You constantly show that you don’t think deeply about these things. He’s making the clear point that heterosexual dudes - even those who vote reliably left like me and other black dudes - increasingly feel like they’re not centered at all in the Democratic Party. Even amongst black people - most democratic messaging over the past decade has been geared towards black women and the messaging towards men has been about helping them escape toxic masculinity (which we should). But dudes want to be dudes. Being a Dem feels like being around HR.

We coulda had these conversations AFTER Kamala was elected President :beli:
