How’s that for a showcase game? With trade winds swirling around DeMarcus Cousins, the big man went out and put his skills on full display for Celtics GM Danny Ainge to get a good long look at in a huge 118-96 win at home.

This wasn’t the prettiest triple-double game you’ll ever see — Cousins was 4-for-12 from the field — but the Kings absolutely dominated the Celtics, and Cousins keyed a lot of the action. He made the high-low pass, he ran the floor in transition, and he bullied Boston’s frontcourt much of the night.

Cousins hasn’t performed up to his talent level in the least bit, but when he does things like this on the floor, it’s a little easier to block out everything else and dream on his potential.

:salute:

His court vision and passing ability though :ohhh:

Say what you want about Cousins being a head case but this guy is one of the most talented big men to come into the league in the past decade. He literally has all the tools to be a top 5 player in the NBA but his inconsistencies and immaturity are hindering his development. He needs a change of scenery ASAP. Realistically, what are some destinations that make sense for a trade involving Demarcus Cousins?

I don't think anyone here questions his talent..dukes just crazy:dead: He needs a team w/ veterans and a well respected coach. Boston or Spurs a good look for him.

You made the same face when I said the same thing about Lance and his ability to run an offense, calling him shoot happy.

I know what I"m seeing in Cousins ability to have an offense run through him.

He has inside/out ability to open the court for his team.

I wouldnt run my offense through a big man shooting 40% from the field

All dudes proven is he can put up numbers on a bad team and those numbers still arent even all that impressive

He's a much better shooter in the post than what he's shown so far this season. He has the ability to open things up for himself if allowed to play the way he did against the Celtics.

He has that ability.
