The 2K series has become a microtransaction factory. Has been for years. It's one of the reasons why Take Two raising the price of 2K to $70 and citing rising development costs is hilariously absurd and frankly quite an insult.
Ya’ll should’ve dropped 2K the moment VC became a thing.

I only play PNO, but fakkits on there just pick and roll or turbo spam. shyt is nothing close to simulation basketball.
Only sports game that’s even tolerable in my library is NASCAR Heat 4. fukk 2K & fukk Madden.

there use to be a legit franchise mode done here on the coli but I guess that got phased out. It was basically a safe place to play. Except all those crazy trades

Yup that's why I rarely complain about 2K. In most cases I wait until 2K goes on sales during the holiday or cop in the new year. If it's trash sell it back online.
2k is sad b/c they been getting worse every year since 2K14 and now they just been selling gimmick games each year. Broken gameplay mechanics, MyTeam micro-transactions, etc., 2K21 shouldn't have been released at all. Maybe we get Live later on in the year.

No, it doesn’t. You have to pay to upgrade. Take two had fully embraced the free to play model while still charging you.
