I was just thinking about this in the Borat thread in The Film Room. They filmed the part where he proposes to Pam Anderson at the Virgin Megastore near me that closed
cause of the recession. I used to cop so many dope records for the low there.

CompUSA (moms bought our first family computer here)
Hollywood Video (for all the ill Kung Fu flicks and games that'd be out of stock everywhere else)
Circuit City (had mad CD's cheap)
Borders
Kay Bee Toys (I'll always remember betting on a fight as a youngin and winning the pot, took the dough here and bought some PSX games)

Recession did a number on a lot of places mane :wow:

They had a roy Roger's by penn station in the cut...it was by the hotel across from the Madison square garden entrance...

I didn't know they closed IAR...I went there for a free visit years back..

Music factory was in the bx on fordham..dr Jay's took that spot and I think that's pretty much closed..

shyt just different these days
