lets discuss some revisionist history about last year. Mil is very good and i'm not convinced they were "about to lose" to the Nets at any point.

Game 1 was fairly close and Nets won.

Game 2 Nets rolled.. no argument.

Nets did what they were supposed to do.

Harden out for game 3 abut Durant and irving BOTH played and they BOTH shot terribly in the game. Mil won.

Game 4 Mil was leading 44-40 when irving went down. Mil wins. Then Harden returns for the rest of the games.

Every game the Nets had Durant and either irving or Harden.

Game 7 the infamous "toe game" ... Durant "almost beat them".. Cool. Durant didn't score in OT did he?

Nets never had the series wrapped up. They were probably going to lose game 4 and be tied 2-2

They were definitely about to lose, but that was entirely due to Coach Bud defending Durant like he had Klay and Steph on his team still. They had the personnel last season to defend him similarly to how the Celtics are this year, and once again, that Nets team was much worse than they are now.
