I never said none of that argue with @tuckdog he the one saying they count as NYC

We don’t do this Atlanta shyt where everyone in the metro claims the city. The city is the city.

And yeah plenty of Westchester folks try to Jack the city :mjlol: including Puff talkin bout he from Harlem seen it plenty of times and seen nikkas get low key clowned for it in person :umad:

Look at this shyt Kiss ain’t from the city he from Yonkers :russ:

So now Puff ain’t from NYC either. :mjlol:

Well it looks to me that everybody that makes NYC cool is not really from there by your logic so y’all been riding the talent and culture of out of town nikkas in your own state.

I dig it.

Perhaps ATL/GA dudes should take Waka's lead then. I see Migos claming the "Norf" too sometimes as well. People should hust claim their own individual area. Build it up like them Westcoast nikkas do. They claim Compton, Watts, Inglewood etc. Even tho it can all fall as LA County. The indiviudality is what builds up the overall scene.

I understand why this is always a touchy subject in our culture. Throwing your city in the trash to rep another city or area is disrespectful to your hometown and the people you grew up with.

Build up your city/town/county/area rather than riding a already established wave.

That's another thing though. A lot of dudes ain't from "cities". They're from unincorporated areas. Most of the Eastside is unicorporated. There's not city to claim except what's on your address. Sometimes you have an Atlanta address some times you have a Decatur address.

That's why the general consensus here is, if from inside or right outside of 285, you from Atlanta. Georgia is a different place regarding borders, zoning, and shyt like that.

:pachaha:

JK

You know what keeping it a buck. They are suburban nikkas :manny:

Im out in Westchester enough to see whats up. There are wild spots here and there. But overall 914 is the suburbs.

Nothing wrong with being from there either but it is definitely not The City.

Yeah it is when I get my house I’m considering Y-O, White Plains, New Ro maybe further out like Tarrytown or some shyt

Tarrytown is nice also. My brothers in west palm beach actually got family up there. Westchester is def a much better vibe than Long Island.

actually
1.) Westchester
2.) New Jersey
3.) Rockland County
4.) CT
5.) Long Island

They're right though and I'm not from Atlanta. There's the city of Atlanta and then east point, college park and Decatur are their own separate cities that are directly outside Atlanta. The irony is east point is southwest and Decatur is east of Atlanta.

It's so weird seeing my city being analyzed like this. Back in the day no one really cared unless you were from like Cobb, Gwinett County, or even like North Atlanta like Alpharetta or something.

If you lived anywhere in the perimeter where a lot of black folk lived, no one made a big deal out of it.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
WestChester nikkas ain’t considered NYC nikkas. Long Island nikkas ain’t considered NYC nikkas. shyt even Staten Island nikkas don’t get treated like NYC nikkas. Lol. My argument was for NY as a whole. But this is and has always been a known thing. The dynamics of the city is territorial. Every borough got its own vibe and do they own thing despite certain similarities.

Puff is from Mt. Vernon. His dad is from Harlem he used to work with Nicky Barnes. Puff went to Mount Saint Michael, a private Catholic school in the Bronx.

Most the people that make us look cool actually from the five boroughs born and raised.

All those Westchester and Long Island dudes are NYC adjacent. They was influenced by the city some of them are just guys whose parents got some $ and were able to move out there. Some of these guys were in the city frequently and some even to school here. No problem with them and we consider them our own but they aren’t from the city that simple where they from it’s just a different vibe. It just ain’t the concrete jungle man.
