In my personal experience, far left is more annoying but it's probably because i rarely encouter far right people.

I think we should also distinguish on what type of issues. In economic issues it's kind of the same. On identity/social issues (lgbt, feminism, etc.) it's a different story. I've personally never debated are argued with a racist individual in my life so maybe i would find them more annoying if i encountered them more.

I'll add this, you know you have a conservative beat in an argument when they start spouting essentialist, 'human nature' bullshyt to justify their fukked up reductionist worldview.

Conversely, you know you have a liberal beat in an argument when they start arguing about the sincerity of positions. When their big "hearts" molded by big "brains", fail on "facts" or logic, their last attempt is to claim their opponent doesn't really care (concern trolling) or is immoral beyond what a proper education could fix.

In my experience of worst case scenarios, far-right supporters tend to make super narrow minded arguments while far-left supporters tend to make highly subjective, emotional arguments.

Both agg tf outta me but politics aside and purely from a debate/intellectual discussion perspective…getting loud and passionate without facts is the biggest way to trigger my disinterest in talking to you. So my answer is probably far left.

Call me crazy but you can have the most fukked up/opposite of my own perspective…but if delivered in a calm, rationale sense we can get through the convo with no problem.

Leave your state sometime. Gentrifiers are mostly young cacs that are beginning good careers and can afford cosmopolitan living before settling down with kids in the suburbs. The average young cac male is right wing, especially those in finance & tech. I know and worked with enough of these types firsthand.

Regardless of the inaccuracy of that statement, a cac moving into a formerly black neighborhood isn't a fault or result of lefty politics. Ultimately right wing policies enabled the initial white flight, the disenfranchisement of black city neighborhoods (that made the neighborhood cheaper for gentrifiers) and biased zoning laws.

The difference between a liberal gentrifier and a right wing one is the liberal one will let you guilt them about it.

Far left people usually back up their perspectives with evidence of some sort.

Far right people are entirely feelings based. You can give them facts and they'll just ignore them--especially if they lack the ability to even evaluate the evidence you give them.

You also have to look at the logical extreme of each perspective. At the furthest end of left wing thought you end up with borderless societies that are run entirely by councils that people appoint and dissolve at will.

On the Far right side you end up with people being killed on an industrial scale because they're considered the "wrong" type of person. Whether it's severe misogyny like you see in Arab countries, or the imperialism and holocaust you get in white countries. Their solution always boils down to "it's everyone else's fault except the rich and powerful, if we kill a certain type of people then everything will be fine"
