they werent doing that for 2 players that would actually fit their roster composition better (hield, turner) ....why the fukk would they do that for fournier and old role players
Fournier is better than Heild and we saw personally how important Rose is to a bench. I don’t know what the Lakers plan is to keep competing… hope that Kyrie comes next summer?

he's really not. those players do not help the lakers more than hield and turner would and the lakers balked at that.

Again, they’re dumb. They should have took that deal too. They should have also traded for Heild last summer and paid Caruso as well.

Pat Bev-Fournier-Crowder-Lebron-AD is a pretty good defensive unit with floor spacing for Lebron. It would make them top 4 or 5 in the west imo

no they're not dumb.
locking yourself with the inability to trade a first round pick fro 7 years to a roster that DOESNT make you title contender is idiotic
doing all that to be "top 4 or 5 in the west" is dumb as fukk
and that shyt would not put fear in anybody heart :mjlol:

I will say this though, that Cleveland trade is dog shyt for Utah. Those pics are gonna be in the 20's, maybe late 20's I dead ass think this trade makes Cleveland a title contender. They get a bunch of mid players, and Sexton puts up the emptiest numbers in the NBA next to Julius Randle. I never thought I would agree with Bill Simmons but Barrett, Quickley, and 2 unprotecteds>>>>>Cleveland's offer.

Then why extend Lebron? Who could be finished as an elite player at any moment. Punting this season and hoping he’ll still be great in the 23/24 season is just as pointless. They should keep trying to go for it, and if everything fails you can always recoup picks by trading AD down the line.

They extended LeBron cause the Lakers would be completely irrelevant without him
They don't have control over their first round pick till 2026 at earliest so there's no use letting him go and just being shyt

So they’re gonna let him go out like Kobe.

This is interesting if true. It puts the Johnny Bryant hire, and the stunt they did with Randle at the playoffs into context. Like us diehard fans knew it was to chase after Donovan, but the Jazz did too.

Danny Ainge is scum but he was a Celtic so we already knew it.

:pacspit:

So it was spite. Lmao how we piss off 2 organizations at the same time by going to a playoff game :Russ:
