It's not even the same situation as Myles Turner is a FA after the season and Hield only has two years left on their deals. They are not big money contracts in the slightest compared to Randle and Fournier. You're literally talking about $100+ million dollars between two players that the Lakers would be taking on. Not to mention the fact that Hield has been linked to the Lakers for years now.

Be realistic breh. Have you forgot how shytty Randle played last season?
He’s better than turner’s often injured ass. Fournier has a better contract (less money left if you decline his team option) AND is a better shooter than Hield. Rose is better than everyone listed.

So what? Once again, they both have $100+ million dollars combined on their contract left. You can spit however you want, but that premise isn’t going to change.

It's not just Grimes, it's just giving up picks that would prevent us from drafting someone to replace him.

Picks and on top of that pick swaps, and young players. One of those picks could end up being better than Donovan Mitchell (13 pick).

Let the season playout. They need to move him more than we need to trade for him. They really don't want to start the season with him on the roster. They are trying to tank to get that guy from France.

If we giving up that much we should do a pick swap for next season. :russ:

Like I said, I wouldnt do the trade at this point either

I would let the season start with the roster as is. If we go on a nice win streak then we got more leverage. I want to see how Obi, IQ, Grimes, and Reddish look. I think we are better defensively with the current roster, and added some more offense with Bruson and Rose coming back.

Only issues are Randle and Fournier.

Old Brooklyn
Brunson, Grimes, RJ, Randle and Mitch.

Can someone @storyteller @Wargames @JMurder check RJ's corner catch and shoot pct?

I believe that starting line up isn'y anything to scoff at, honestly.

If Utah is really playing that hard to get; I'm comfortable watching the roster we have.

We have NO desperation in this at all.

Knicks are crazy though..

How the hell do they think they can getaway with a GM that NEVER talks to the media IN NEW YORK fukkIN CITY

:russ:

They held a press conference introducing Jalen Brunson with no media allowed

:dead:

The media is WAITING to crush them how long do they think they can do this?

:russ:
Who cares? Why does the media have to be there?

I see 31% from the corners this season. But he was 42% on a lot more attempts the year prior. The decrease in attempts and efficiency likely means that some of it came down to the quality of shots he got from the spot. That tracks because he played a bigger role, got more attention from defenses, and didn't have a PG for most of the season. The 42% is probably a bit inflated but the 31% isn't a number I'd worry about.

I think the Shams report just now cemented that I feel like Danny Ainge is playing games and BS'ing. The list of teams with interest is a bunch of squads that can't offer the picks he wants. Toronto could offer Scottie Barnes I suppose, but I don't think they'd do that (he was a deal-breaker even for KD). Atlanta gave up all their picks for Murray. Miami is focused on Durant and had a weaker offer than the Knicks. Charlotte, Washington, and Sactown would need to involve third teams to match the number of picks which would also require them coming off young players that they've valued thus far. This feels like Utah dumping a list of teams that called to try and spook Leon Rose.

That 3 teamer might be in play.

I didn’t get to finish it, but KFS covered the different options to make salaries match for a Westbrook trade on the last cap or no cap. The salary matching looks like it can get a bit tricky but Ive gotta go back and finish it.
