It’s a damn shame Randle will be here next season doesn’t look like we had any plans to trade him.

He was in Dallas during the playoffs watching Brunson.

After such a terrible season where his on court play was one thing but his attitude towards fans, refs, opposing players, teammates, coaches was inexcusable.

Craziest thing though was Thursday night went to this random ass hookah bar and an hour after we arrived in walks monte Morris, Jose Alvarado, Kuzma and dean wade shyt was crazy!


After that went to another hookah spot and Christian wood walks in right in front of us and Myles powell was hollering at a few chicks

The Knicks bench should also be better than the starters this upcoming season which has been recurring.

You think he gonna be nice?

He can unlock something here if given ample playing time.

Only thing about him is he fouls a lot, his post game is a bit herky jerky, and he sometimes turns the ball over with over ambitious passes. I’m guessing that’s the stuff that has kept him under the radar and limited him to bench big status.

But he’s as well rounded as a big can be. The signings of him and Robinson $ for value/impact were incredible.

I think he brings similar defensive value to Mitch but with a lot more offensive skill. Can be one of the leagues finest bigs.

If Mitch goes down Hartenstein will usurp him.

He’s better for the same reason I had Robert Williams as better—high post passing ability.

The league has not seen all this guy can do not even close.

I saw that Reddit thread the other day. My favorite line was something to the effect of “stretch big doesn’t always mean shooting, he can space the floor with his passing ability too”. Then you remember Thibs and Joakim Noahs almost MVP season when Rose went down…

Look at Jokic or Bam today.

An offense run through Hartenstein with cutters and shooters would produce nice results.

Hartenstein is bringing the defensive value of a Mitch with great passing ability (short roll, high post, DHO), actual touch below the rim (floaters and hooks), better face up dribble drive ability+he is more coordinated and a better ball handler, plus the promise of shooting and being an actual stretch big (55% on 137 jumpers last year).

Like I said this guy has not shown all he can do not even close.

I’m excited to see him hopefully run the bench mob and eventually take the starting job. I hope he is prioritized and used to his strengths.

And this is what pisses me off about the FO. Any other organization that has a guy like Obi in the wings would be trying to move Randle to make room for his growth. This dumb FO doubles down and & shows loyalty to a guy that not only doesn't deserve it but just isn't "that guy" you build a team around. He's no leader
