The issue is Brunson doesn't make the team better where we all know Brunson is going to he eating the younger guys mins. This team was tragic last year cause of much more than the PG position.

I don't think it's smart for the knicks to just assume that Randle will get it back together and for RJ to be near All Star level. Not only that but seeing Randle in the playoffs, we need a number one that is dependable not another player beneath Julius

I think Brunson improves the team. How much? I'm not completely sure. But he's a sure-thing starting PG and only 25 years old himself.

The real elephant in the room is Randle. I think it's a lot easier to accept a Brunson deal if they're moving Randle in the process. If you told me a month ago that we could turn Kemba, Burks, and 4 second round picks into Brunson...I'd be cool with it. But if you threw in that Randle's gonna stay on the roster, I'd get frustrated fast.

Brunson would have made us a playoff team last year. A pg was our biggest need not just because of the position but because would have helped put everyone else in their proper roles playing time and responsibility wise. Unlike CP3 or Kyle Lowry he’s young enough to bridge the team from a first round exit to a contender with the addition of a star (something we are reasonably in decent position to do).

I would like to have Brunson on the team, but there's no way in hell 3 lefties in our starting lineup will work bro. Randle needs to be moved; I can't emphasize that enough and I hope management understands this

Going into last year, the knicks we r e supposed to be like middle of the conference? I just don't think Brunson addition gets us almost 10 wins, I just don't see that in any way possible. The issue is Randle and if he doesn't play back to 21' Randle, this team making any addition not better than him just isn't going to work.

Randle is moody and is going to demand the ball, Brunson can set everyone up but if Jules is going to just put up bullshyt the addition is irrelevant imo. Which is why I think they should've just started towards to future by building young guys.

Brunson takes the ball out of Randles hands the same way Rose did the year before. That’s the biggest plus period.

If Murray goes for Gallo and picks I’m gonna be sick…

fukk paying 110ms for a small ass pg

Murray/Young is a sick combo. Two of the best playmakers in the league. Murray's catch and shoot is a weakness, but I think part of his shooting development got curtailed from injury woes. I'd take that risk in a heartbeat.

Also...it sounds like our first sign of a "tank for the class of '23" is beginning early. That's a hyped draft which makes me think teams will be sellers by the trade deadline in spite of the play-in making everyone closer to competitive.
