So we’re trading back now? On everything if we trade back and don’t get Brunson Leon job security needs to be discussed
They already know if they’re getting Brunson or not. We just don’t. If they trade back to dump salary it’s because they probably have a guarantee. It could also just be because they don’t value anyone at 11 that highly and want to use this as an opportunity to make playing time for younger guys already on the roster too.

NOW? All this front office has done is trade back. :russ:

Maybe we could've traded up if we kept the 2nd pick we had this year, had we not traded for Cam, who Thibs didn't play and we're now rumored to be looking to move, but hey, I'm not as shrewd as this front office is. :russ:

My draft and stash options list after looking at the international players:
Khalifa Diop - Played in a lesser league, but size and athleticism is really impressive. He's a project, but the type of swing for the fences that's worth it.

Luke Travers - Good size and has some of that Aussie all-around sharpness. He's like 6'7 with really nice vision and plays smart. Already got three years in the Autralian league and his growth curve has been impressive. His jumper developing could turn him into a really solid complimentary guy.

Ziga Samar - 6'6 true point guard that shot 41% from three in the second-best league on the planet. He put up 8,5,3 in 20 mins on good efficiency with pretty solid defense. He kinda reminds of Rokas in that he's not an eye-popping athlete but plays faster and smarter than his athleticism implies. I don't get why some other PG prospects are above him...particularly Hugo Besson.

Matteo Spagnolo - 6'4 point guard with a really fun game to watch. He switched from the ACB to Italian league and looked better against the lesser competition. Kid can shoot and has a flashy ball-handling and passing style. But that also meant he gets out of control and turns over the rock. I don't think that 12,3,3 in the Italian league is as impressive as Samar's 8,5,3 in the ACB but the tape is super fun and mock drafts have him more likely to be picked.

Gabriele Procida - I'm reluctant to mention him because I think he'll get drafted too high for us to chase. He's surprisingly athletic, plays tough, and his jumper is aesthetically awesome. He's probably the best prospect of this list, but that's also why we probably won't be able to just buy a second-round pick to stash him. He and Spagnolo had me watching Italian league ball for what feels like the first time.

Man...can't we just wish this shyt into existence. The Blazers get a couple rotation pieces, one that could potentially replace Nurkic, and both with team options so that they can be waived if the first season flops...it kinda makes sense if they're as down on this draft class as I am and as determined to compete with Dame as they seem to be.

...kinda...
