:unimpressed:

For a franchise that’s not cool anymore, players sure get butt hurt when we pass on them. At least we got Cam out of the process…

They really did rub it in that Knox destroyed him one on one. If there's one guy I could see being upset, it'd be Miles...but this does seem to be the one place that players take personally. Bridges waiting years later to chirp because he finally has some good performances is peak corny behavior though. He wasn't taking it personally until his jumper started falling apparently :francis:

I believe RJ shot the ball maybe 5 times the second half which is unacceptable. We lost becasuse we played Randle ball the second half of the game. I made an observation early in the 3rd quarter which only one person acknowledged that Randle was not passing to him; he was looking him off a lot of times

still need him gone. I don’t care that he “didn’t demand a trade”

we really lost cause thibs thought it was a good idea to put evan fournier at the point of attack on lamelo fukking ball and having him die on a screen 25 feet away from the rim leading to lamelo ball having a career high in assists.
evan will give you 30 and end up giving up 40

This should skip right to it, but there's a checkmark in case it doesn't to a topic of "if Rokas Jokubaitis is an NBA player?"

There are two sides to the discussion first being how good Rokas is and the second being focused on his NBA prospects, if he should come over, and when.

1. This is the part that's so fire. These dudes pretty much gush about Rokas and that seems to be the widespread outlook on the kid. They call him the best young prospect in the Euroleague and go so far as saying he could develop into a Euroleague MVP if he sticks around. They talk about him running the perfect second quarter in a recent game. It's pretty much 11 minutes of Rokas being a rising star that they are excited to see grow.
They tell this one story in particular about Rokas at age 18. In some playoff or tournament game, the coach remarked that Rokas knew the gameplan better than any of the other point guards. He includes the name Nate Wolters, which is cool because Wolters played for the Bucks for a bit and showed some promise. So 18 year old Rokas was already showing intelligence ahead of a former NBA PG that even got some starts.

2. Now on the NBA prospects they go in a pair of directions. They see him as an NBA talent for sure and compare him to players from Udrih and Satoransky to even Goran Dragic (actually his name comes up first). But they don't picture him coming over next year.
They recognize that the Knicks are light at PG, but they see Rokas going from the rising star of the Euroleague to just another prospect on the Knicks' roster. They mention how Euroleague players don't always receive the patience or developmental plans necessary for success and reference Frank Ntilikina and this year's Usman Garuba as high draft picks that could have developed better in Europe.

One thing to bare in mind is that they admit they're being selfish in wanting him to stay. They see Euroleague stars rise and go to the NBA, so keeping this one would be fun for them. But that just tells you how confident they are that this kid is going to be very good. It's also just dope to hear a European outlook on the kid since they have much more access.

One last bit...These dudes say they've heard that multiple NBA teams really like and want Rokas. If he's a draft and stash that will take time to come over, then all this hype might turn him into a bigger trade chip than we realize.

That was a horrible decision bro. He got cooked on the PnR all night. Thibs took out IQ when he was pushing the pace, Obi got like what, 12 or 13 mins. And then he ran the offense through Randle to the detriment of the team. As far as I'm concerned, they both have to go
