nah I’m good I have a system that works...not saying I’ll never play it but it’s not looking like a day one for me plus I already have luigi’s mansion 3 and the outer worlds in the tuck and possibly fallen order

I have some money to burn. My expectations arent high or low. I just wanna see if it's a good game.

but honestly, i doubt it'll live up to the expectations placed on it by posters in this forum.

Hopefully the story is as good as RDR2. That game was such a nice surprise. Didnt expect to be so impressed with it

80-84, novel concept, good-great story, polished mechanics and gfx but doesn't live up to previous work, falls into same traps MGSV fell into, gameplay tedious/boring at times. Not for everyone.

Yea I read the updates. Im not down on the game but MGSV, as fun as it was, benefited from coming out at the beginning of the gen and having the MGS brand.

Since then, we've gotten amazing games and are due for a few more. The bar has been raised. I think mid to high 80s is reasonable.

I do feel, story wise, this will be the most cohesive story kojima has told in years, due to having a clean slate.

Either way I still have my pre order and am cautiously optimistic so nothing has really changed for me in that regard.

Figured it'd go like this. Not a bad score but obviously Kojima needs to rethink how he approaches concepts next gen.

Like FF15 was huh.... Ended up good but started slow on that too.

I think with things like that it falls down to the games length, if the length is decent then it shouldn’t be to much of an issue. Although 15hrs in a 40hrs game is to much time not getting to the point.

Review breakdown. The scores aren't bad at all objectively speaking. It has a 86 on Opencritic. Reading people's reactions make it sound like it scores a 68 or something.

This game looked mediocre to me from the get go. I will wait for it to be on sale for about 20-30 dollars on PSN in a couple months. That Star Wars game looks more fun to play than this.
