whats with the jewell hate? "harvest for the world" was easily the best r&b cut on MWTC. she merked that remake. powerful music.

that jodeci song was meh just like most of jodeci's uptempos. if im short on time, i flat out skip that track.

the soundtrack version of that snoop joint is over-produced. many agree. i like it, but the doggystyle version is fresher.

I'm a fan of Jewell but both her songs were completely out of place on that soundtrack. Of the 5 R&B cuts, hers were the two worst on that album.

As far as MWTC, the version that appears on the soundtrack is the version the majority of Hip-Hop fans know and like. It has a darker feel and fits with the vibe of the Soundtrack. It's another example of Dre polishing a track and taking it to the next level. It was also a lot more consistent since the bulk of the album was produced by DJ Quik, Daz, and Dre (all three at or close to their primes).

that jodeci song was meh homie. danny boy & nate dogg's was cool but jewell str8 killed that joint. it didnt fit in with the soundtrack because everything else was rap or r&b geared str8 towards rap fans. i dont see how you can say that "harvest for the world" song wasnt the best r&b cut on MWTC. i just dont see it.

the majority of hip-hop fans that know one version of MWTC, know both versions. i mean, what type of rap fans that sof age to even know about these songs hasnt heard doggystyle?
