I mean I don't have a VCR anymore lol, but just keep the tape cause memorabilia or whatever, plus the plastic casing being red instead of black is kinda ill. The DVD has some minor differences, couple things added, couple things missing. There was a commerical for volume 2 on the website at one point but it never materialized.

Bout a 5 year gap. "The New & Untouchable Death Row Records" first appeared on Nate Doggs semi shelved album and then Tha Row was Dysfunktional Family soundtrack.

Who was on "new and..."?
Wasn't Makaveli, Doggfather, Greatest Hits and Christmas on Death Row "New & Untouchable"? I thought it was just those last few from 96 that were New &, and then starting with Gridlock'd up til Chronic 2000 they were just "Untouchable". I might be misremembering.

IIRC what came out during that time was Nates album, Doggfather, Gridlockd, Gang Related, Daz Retaliation, Lady Of Rage Necessary Roughness and the final album was Michelle Hang Tyme. Then they went back to Death Row Records with Chronic 2000 and Dogg Pound Records was supposed to be a subsidiary with Daz, Soopafly, Crooked I, Lil C-Style,Mac Shawn and So. Sentrelle but it didn't happen, Big C-Style still has a lot of the DATs from that venture.
I think you're right actually, I think they did drop the "New" from the name.
I assumed he was talking about the “Escape from Death Row” cd which wasn’t actually from Death Row Records
