he is really skilled. still his stalking can backfire on him. he is who he is though. he fights smart most of the time too. thats why we need thatfight so we can sort out who the best really is.
still the future is bright for Kovalev. he can fight Stevenson, rematch Pascal in Montreal again, etc....
I thought that Agnew kid opened up some avenues for other fighters top take against Kov. Kid had no power really but was doing a good job of putting punches together to make Kov think twice about tryna stalk him. But he eventually got to him like he does everyone else and it was curtains.
All in all Kov seems to look better everytime I see him fight. That's the signs of a smart fighter.

Roy fought smart, even though sometimes he would punch wild, but he would also punch with precise punches to set his opponents up . Also Roy never had stamina problems until he dropped back down in weight. He could go 12 rounds and wouldn't be breathing hard or have a scratch on his face most of the times.
Something that Pascal definitely needs to work on because he would of had a better shot last night mixing it up a bit. He got his off a few times with Kovalev but didn't fight a smart fight at all by laying on the ropes and keeping his hands too low. I know RJJ your idol and all but you can't do the things that RJJ did or done. I think 46 year old Roy right now got a better defense than Pascal. LOL
