I remember watching a trailer or a clip of this movie last year and not being impressed. The jokes were contrived (Tyler Perry = bad, black hipster = good) and the tone of the trailer was much different (corny). This seems like the spawn of a Spike Lee movie and that's refreshing, especially considering that it isn't from Spike. I'm glad they changed the approach because that other shyt would've bombed. This looks like it will create some buzz.

Saw the trailer for this on IGN today. Just want to say as a white guy this movie looks very promising, and don't take the right wing trolls in the comments sections on articles pertaining to this movie as a representation of a majority of whites. Especially for the millennial generation, the amount of racists are shrinking and shrinking.

The new trailer looks tight. I hope a theater around my way carries it. Didn't know Dennis Haysbert and Malcolm Barrett were in this so that's a plus.

Black hipster movie. At first I thought this movie will be/or have the "niche" i been longing for because the thought provoking title but it was just illusion. its reason why it got greenlighted
