It's a shame that the role of a man in the family in this thread has been so devalued, while the 'supermom' is hearld as indirectly the new head. If we have to list what a man's role is I've already lost you.

Why should a woman's achievements effect her role in her own personal family unit? Wouldnt those achievements make doing her duty easier with all that success? Or have her priorities changed?

the problem is back in the day, it only took one income to sustain a typical household. these days, that shyt really ain't gonna fly.

U can do a 1 income household today no problem.... you just have to be OK with cutting back and not living a Hollywood lifestyle. People used to live much simpler lives. U might have all your kids sleeping in the same room etc, that shyt was normal.

I agree that marriage is a contract. If you decide your wife's only duties are looking good, cooking, cleaning and fukking then you as the man have to provide all the financial support. If you can't provide all the support then you can't be angry if a woman won't submit to all your requirements. For example if your wife has to work then you have to help with cooking and cleaning. And whether she works or not u can't just take the p*ssy. You should probably not get married. It would be more productive for you to get a housekeeper and prostitutes (since it doesnt sound like you have much success with relationships).

as am I. but when a house was only hitting you for like 7K total and a whip was like 2K and you made 8K annually, you can see why it was easy to to survive on a single income.

these days, hardly ANYONE grosses annually the same amount as a house cost.
