I don't think so. He had his rambling in the others, but they just kept going to the point of overkill. Plus the other movies had enough seriousness and a plot to balance out Wade. Like, if there was 1-2 jokes per movie in which they really honed in on the quips and banter for a sequence, this one did it for like 8 jokes.
