Legends yes but also a group of fukking dikk heads off their albums :yeshrug:

Not saying its okay for Tommy Boy to do this but when you are an a$$hole or a trio of a$$holes and people have sway (pardon the pun) over your work this is what happens. Sad but true.

Not fully my story to tell because I am not anywhere near them or Tommy Boy directly but it's been said they are all a$$holes and think because they are De La Soul everyone should bend for them.

Which if you think about it, makes sense. Why else would the label fukk with them so hard?

Here's a snippet of an interview Pos & Mase did on Hofstra University right before 3 Feet High & Rising dropped

Of note is Pos explaining how Tommy Boy offered up $500 for anyone who could identify the sample on Plug Tunin' along with the label and vocalist. In light of this recent news one has to wonder if this was how Tommy Boy actually found out where the sample came from

That tour lineup :wow::blessed:

Explain the a$$hole thing

The short of it: They (De La Soul) act like a$$holes to people behind the scenes in the industry acting like their shyt don't stink and because they are De La Soul everyone should essentially be a groupie/stan for them.

I was told this a while ago when they were out here doing shows, this wasn't recent, and I just kind of shrugged it off because a lot of rappers are 'arrogant' to people. Now that I hear they are having problems with behind the scenes people, it makes sense.

You are so wrong. Mase, Dave, Pos are some are some of the coolest dudes. Real down to Earth brothers.

But im not suprised

Streaming revenue has been horrible for vets

De La Soul was my childhood....

posdonous is my personal top 5 dead alive....

FUKK TOM SILVERMAN AND MONICA LYNCH :pacspit:

75 percent of hip hop management teams are straight garbage. de la soul should have taken their time in picking a proper rep to handle their brand.

That doesnt justify Tommy Boy doing bad business

I am a supervisor at work and have been called a$$hole on many occasions

And ive felt the same about them

But none of my employees can say i cheated or robbed them and vice versa

Cause i dont take business personally and neither do my crew

De la soul regardless of thier elitist attitude and ive heard it as well

Still did thier part and fulfilled thier obligation

Tommy Boy is dead azz wrong and they have done this to all thier artists
