Too much money involved breh.

You lower the total amount of PPV buys/gate revenue by placing the event all on 1 card.

If you hold them seperately, you get back double the revenue

Floyd and Canelo did about 2.2 I think Cotto and Canelo can do those numbers it will remind the ppl of Tito and DLH

They really think they can run up against Floyd on that night. They are simply fukking the money up for themselves. It's a lose lose for both of them. Oscar is being b!tchmade.
They can easily run up against Floyd on Cinco De Mayo.. the only way Floyd wont flop is if he fights Pacquiao. Oscar is brilliant

How does Shane not being able to finish Floyd after making Floyd look like Bambi on ice correlate with Floyds chin?.. if Floyd had some GOAT chin thin these punches wouldn have the affect that they have.. If Floyd had this great chin, you think he'd be Lance Armstronging around the ring forcing Maidana to use gloves with softer pillowy cushion? :stopitslime:

Because Floyd's legs buckled on 2 well placed shots by a fighter with the power of Mosely, he looked like Bambi on ice breh?:comeon:

He held on, regrouped during the round while with standing the aggressiveness of Mosley, and went on to beat Mosley's old ass easy the rest of the fight:ufdup:

Floyd has a great chin, because in 47 career fights and 363 career rounds of boxing, he has NEVER touched the canvas...not 1 time on a official knockdown. That's amazing.

im not gonna pretend like I know much about the sport, but I do have an appreciation and am willing to learn.

That's all you need breh.

If more people had this mindset, you would find out that we eating off boxing on the low:sas2:

Dont worry breh, you'll be entertained, and by this time next year....you'll be going :rudy::pacspit::camby: at the casuals who spout "Boxing is dead" but cant tell you shyt about what's going on and dont even wanna learn about anyone else.

I guarantee it:obama:

Ahhhhh I see....yes thats simple business your right...

shyt I would just put one PPV up friday and one up saturday...and call it a day:yeshrug:

It would be like College Football (when they were in the bowl format) hosting all the major bowl games on the same day (Rose/Sugar/Orange/Fiesta) and in the same venue.

It would destroy their profit. Same thing in boxing. Fights of the magnitude have to be held at least 3 weeks apart, because you're basically cutting into your own profit.

The Mexicans and PR's are gonna watch Canelo vs Cotto.

Everyone else is gonna watch Floyd vs Pac (if they fight, because that's the ONLY fight Floyd could take that would snatch the viewership away from that matchup). Floyd vs Khan? I would still watch that fight, but Canelo vs Cotto would garner more PPV buys that night easily.

Pretty much DLH backing them into a corner. BUt Nelo wont sell unless he goes up against Cotto. they remember that PPV flop against Angulo :mjcry:

you right BUT if you think about it, that fight wasn't really a flop. They barely promoted that fight... Canelo was fighting against a non-draw and was only guaranteed 1.5 mill with an 80/20 split of on back end revenue.. the fight did above 400k (i think).. it did around what it was expected to do.. remember Floydie was doing less than that and was fighting names like Judah and Gatti..

:beli: cant compare that to now that was before Floyd became the #1 Heel Money May. Canelo and Angulo had an All Access sounds like promotion to me :ohhh:

Im not comparing it to Floyd now.. just saying those numbers Floyd was doing back then wasn't considered a flop
I feel you on that but him fighting Clottey seems more like a tune up for Cotto and stat padding. By the end of his career hes gonna be like 79-4-1

Behind You
Y'know we all should really stop even hypothetically mentioning Floyd/Manny for next May because that fight is never happening for a million different reasons.
So I challenge anyone to come up with a better marquee PPV main event opponent for Floyd not named Manny that will be better than Canelo/Cotto.

:banderas:there's nobody else and thats the beauty of the whole thing.. after all thats transpired, Floyd will end up needing Bob to save him again
