This is where I find flaw in this thinking. Most fight fans can agree that Floyd is on the short list for more than "boxer who made the most money". Any respected circle has Floyd on the short list of having the best defense. Any respected circle has Floyd on the short list of being one of the smartest fighters. So no matter how Oscar tries to spin what Floyd career narrative will be, he's lying to himself and to his followers. He's more than a money maker, he was actually one of the last shining stars in terms of skill the game will see. Now he got people out here giving extra credit for losses. There is no "fear of losing an 0" when Floyd has fought and beat you (Oscar), Pac, and dropped MAYBE 3 rounds combined to the two guys you're peddling as the fight to return boxing to where it needs to be on the 21st. Oscar danced with Tito, Sweet Pea, Chavez, Hopkins, Mosley, and Pac. And apparently he couldn't get his best numbers until he fought a guy "nobody knew"??? Keep running with that rhetoric. Cause when a man fights 20 plus World Champions and still gets looked at as if he didn't "fight" anyone, then the game done really changed. Here Floyd was damn near 40 and each fight the public was clamoring for him to fight the biggest and baddest (even a damn Middleweight). Yet in the midst of Oscar run as the man, he sprinkled in a Derrell Coley in between Tito and Shane, a Javier Castillejo in between Gatti and Vargas followed by a Luis Campas. So don't get it twisted. The luxuries afforded all top dogs in the game all of a sudden became no longer the norm when Floyd stands atop the mountain? SRL fought 40 times......and yet most "fans" can name only 3 of his opponents. Cut the crap Oscar....and anybody subscribing to this hissy fit.
