The portrayal of Jason Todd was accurate AF. It's exactly how I imagined, a total reckless a$$hole with zero fukks. And it's all points to how he would end up death with crowbar.

Yeah pretty much. The minute he said “brew sitch” and implied Batman said “bro” I wanted him dead :russ:

For some odd reason I don’t remember reading a lot of Jason Todd as robin, I guess that’s the weed, I started smoking when. I kinda stopped reading comic books heavy, 13:russ: but I believe Batman has to show up somehow, what you think?

He will. I believe that cat was already let out the bag a few months ago. Could be wrong tho

i dont think the Joker and crowbar will be his demise. they hinted in teh episode ... he'll "loose" his mind and return mindless...

i hope it happens mid-end season 2 and he returns as Red Hood mid-end season 3

Honestly if they dig deep in their bag they could knock down the towers. Very early in the development I read Superboy rumors, if they go that route...:ohlawd:

Question for you, @Cognoscente and everyone else here: What are your qualifications for something being the greatest series? Cause I'm feeling this a lot right now but I can't quite go that far yet

i'd like to know that as well. Seems its just based on it being mature and nothing else. The acting is iffy and its not doing anything major as far as story goes. yet its getting hella GOAT consideration. I get that dudes like mature content but i see nothing thats better than the daredevil seasons so far. Especially not fight scenes wise.

I disagree on the story part. Well at least in terms of character and how it develops character. The Jason Todd episode is a perfect example of how this show handles character development really really well. It shows instead of telling and creates counterpoints. Even the whole idea of them being a makeshift family going up against the nuclear family is a good way to illustrate it. But yeah for the most part, its on par with the dope shyt we've gotten.

As far as I'm concerned, none of these live action comic book shows from any one of the big two have topped the better animated versions we've gotten:yeshrug:

Personally a show acknowledging being part of a larger universe and staying true to characters. Flash was on its way the first 2 seasons. I'm a huge fan of the Wolfman/Perez era and the shows hitting the right notes so far. Never in my life did I ever think I'd see a live action Doom Patrol.

Edit: Nothing bothers me more than these shows operating in a vacuum when legally the companies have access to their entire libraries.

So basically all it needs for you is to have a lot of characters you recognize?

:ohhh: So they're making a Doom Patrol series? When the introduced the characters I was thinking how I wouldn't mind watching of show about them. Even with his epic fall off I knew Brendan Fraser wasn't gonna be in that shyt on some one off.

Obviously story and writing are integral but that seems more common than faithful continuity. For example 5-10 years ago there would've been at least 2 made for TV characters for no reason whatsoever. Even if the shows were good why make a Titans show if you're not using the Titans. I won't lie tho I may not be an angry fanboy but I do appreciate fan service.
