Did you get the feeling that the editing was off at the end? We go from Grayson "rescuing" Raven to them in his garage and heading out of town without anything in between to show why dikk would decide that running was the only option they had.

Yup. Also the way they threw in the other character in the end felt off.
Besides some of the cheesiness with Raven's stuff, I thought the pilot was pretty solid and the series has a lot of potential. I think people's fixation today with "tone" in the superhero genre is getting weird. People are obsessed with "tone" when something like storytelling goes a little deeper than just saying whether something has a "light tone" or a "dark tone". As long as a decent story is being told with good character development I don't have any complaints.

the "tone" shyt started with Man of Steel because people couldn't let go of their childhood. They wanted Donner type Superman but the truth is audiences didn't like Singer's version. Audiences liked Man of Steel more than the Singer movie.
People need to understand that there have been several incarnations of these characters over the many decades they've been around.

) and starfire. Its crazy cuz i thought the chick that played starfire was ugly af in them set pics but she looks pretty decent besides them big ass grace jones hands 
...dont care for raven so far and that cgi for beast boy or whatever his name is was
